Rag Doll with Wardrobe

175.00

Phoebe and Egg are dress-able handmade dolls that feel wonderful, soft and squishy, because they are made out of such good materials. Pure wool felt bodies, fluffy soft wool and mohair hair. They are firmly stuffed with a downy wool produced by the Amish. They come ready for play and school.

Phoebe is the big sister, Egg is the baby.

If you hold Phoebe, or Egg, it is hard to let go.

Phoebe is a handmade doll made out soft 100% wool from Holland. This Phoebe is 23 inches tall. She has a pixie haircut (a little bit of five-year old bedhead) made out of all natural Catskill merino. It is secured with a two-fabric flower. Phoebe comes with play clothes: washed linen capris with cherry trim, and a bamboo knit striped tee-shirt. She also has a cotton print school dress with a Peter Pan collar and rick-rack. Underneath she wears a white cotton undershirt, and polka-dot briefs trimmed with pink rick-rack. And she has two pairs of wool felt shoes. But Phoebe needs to be careful, her play shoes are white.

Each doll ships in a sturdy white glossy box suitable for storing Phoebe and all of her clothes in for years to come.

Not appropriate for children under three years of age. Appropriate for children ages 4-100.

She cannot stand on her own, but is good at sitting and some acrobatics.

This Phoebe is made to order.

THE DOLL FRIEND PROJECT

With each purchase of a Phoebe&Egg doll, I make a doll-friend for a foster child or a child in a homeless shelter.

This doll will be more than a treasured possession,

it will be a friend for a journey that needs a loyal travel companion.

To date Phoebe&Egg has delivered dolls to children at the Plummer House and the North Shore Family Promise program. I am currently working on dolls for Family Promise Metro West.
